The Department of Defense has just released the Program Announcement for the Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP) for the 2008 grant cycle. This announcement includes a program announcement, application instructions and deadlines for submission for each award mechanism. You can use the Program Explanation document prepared by the Foundation, which is provided below, to aid you with your grant proposal.

The Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP) has released its pre-announcement about the 2008 grant cycle. The pre-announcement highlights eligibility, key mechanism elements and outlined funding for each award within the PRMP. The purpose of the pre-announcement is to allow investigators time to plan and develop a proposal. The full funding announcement will be released no later than April 2008.
